Hello reader

Welcome to my fabulous collection of reviews. It is about 99% crime, with the odd other review thrown in.

My reviews are always honest. Even if I have been sent a book via a publisher, publicist or author, I will be fair and state my true opinion. I am not affliated with any publisher. If I don’t get on with a book, my review will reflect that. My reviews are written for readers, to help them decide whether the book is for them.

Publishers or authors who become abusive on social media, when given less than favourable reviews: Bookouture and Orenda Books – I have a naming and shaming policy.

*** This year, I am taking time out from blog tours. I no longer appear on social media. I am having a complete rest. I will continue to post my reviews on Amazon UK, Goodreads and here***

Hello Christine. I have discovered your blog by chance as I was searching for a review of Jason Matthews’ THE KREMLIN’S CANDIDATE. I have read some of your posts and I have decided to continue receiving your reviews. At present I am enamored of the spy/espionage novels to which Mr. J.Matthews has lit the way. I just have one question. As I sit here in Eastern Canada in the winter of 2018, I was wondering if “northern” was a reference to Canada? Just curious Christine. Greta review for THE KREMLIN’S CANDIDATE. I am starting it now.
